Keep your reeds is alcohol, vodka is best...keep it for it's lifetime ...take it out and directly play...more hygienic..enzymes in your saliva will not harm the reed material, ie: bamboo fibers...no mould formation...no cycling of dry to wet and back (always wet...).....my personal experience is really encouraging...

Thank you for your great videos! I have a Yamaha Custom 875 Alto purchased in early/mid 90s. I have always found it a bit more “resistant” as you describe. A highly regarded repair tech told me that many Yamaha models need the neck bore opened up slightly. I was hesitant but he was certain so I let him do it. The horn was immediately less resistant especially in low register and altissimo register and kept its great tone. Just curious on your thoughts here and if you have heard of players doing this. I have heard of other good repair techs doing the same thing as well

But this is a very fine and tender piece of music, and it gives me the impression that you are sitting in a battle tank and want to drive the enemy to flight. In places I just find your interpretation too loud and martial. Sorry for my comment, but I think that Maurice André is spinning in his grave.
